When we discovered this house, its understated charm and prime location, we were captivated. The natural light streaming in, the garden, the view of the hills... We enthusiastically restored it to give it a new lease on life with all the necessary comforts. Every decorative choice, every piece of furniture has been designed to create a warm atmosphere where you immediately feel at home.

Cémarose was born from this desire to share an authentic and comfortable living space to discover the Champagne region, from Reims to Epernay, passing through the wine villages that make our exceptional region world-renowned: Hautvillers , Ay-Champagne , Mareuil-sur-Aÿ, Sacy, Avize, Fleury-la-Rivière, Verzenay, Chatillon sur Marne and many others.

The 80 m² cottage is spread over two levels. At the entrance, a vestibule provides a space to leave coats and luggage. You then enter the bright living area where the kitchen, dining room, and lounge coexist harmoniously.

The decor is both retro and contemporary, skillfully blending a few modern pieces with vintage furniture. The upcycled light fixtures add a personal touch, creating an atmosphere that is both current and timeless.

The open-plan kitchen is perfectly equipped for those who love homemade meals: oven, dishwasher, microwave, ceramic hob, fridge-freezer, and even three types of coffee makers to suit all tastes (Bodum press, classic filter, or Senseo pod machine). The central table offers a slightly raised, snack-style seating area, illuminated by pendant lights that cast a lovely amber glow, creating a warm atmosphere.

In the living room, the relaxation area can comfortably accommodate 6 people. The forest wallpaper is eye-catching and creates a unique style. A connected Smart TV gives you access to all French channels as well as streaming platforms (Netflix). Bonus: a record player with Bluetooth connectivity and a portable speaker.

Upstairs, three tastefully decorated bedrooms await you:

• The "Confidence" bedroom is bathed in morning light. A rustic wallpaper adorns the wall. Linen curtains paired with an iridescent white voile envelop the room. The "Fleur" pendant light in white linen (a French creation from Cathy's workshop in Nancy) completes this soothing decor. Landes pine parquet flooring and a queen-size bed (160x200 cm).

• The "Twilight" room, on the garden side, offers a bohemian style . Soft hues and elegant spring patterns create a reassuring haven. A wall-mounted shelf provides a convenient workspace for a laptop. This room can accommodate a crib. Features include a "Fleur" pendant light in terracotta linen (a French design), Landes pine flooring, and a queen-size bed (160x200 cm) .

• The small "Pépite" bedroom is inspired by the delicate texture of gold leaf . It's the ideal room for two children or two adults, who can push together the two single beds (80x190 cm). It features a vintage upcycled glass pendant light from Clichy (a French creation from Gaëlle's workshop in Lyon) and Landes pine parquet flooring.

Each room features high-end bedding (French 4-star hotel standard) to guarantee restful nights , with memory foam mattresses, cotton satin bed linens, and eco-friendly duvets made from recycled fibers. Our guests often ask us about the brand of the bedding before their departure.

🍇 Two practical and contemporary bathrooms

The cottage has two bathrooms, each with a toilet. The ground-floor bathroom features a high-quality walk-in shower (90x90 cm), a toilet, and a contemporary vanity unit. The minimalist, natural decor creates a relaxing atmosphere.

A small bathroom is located upstairs. It includes a toilet, a washbasin unit, and a sliding corner shower (80x80 cm). A welcome addition when there are six of you and everyone is in a hurry to get ready before a nice restaurant or a trip to the Champagne region.
